MICHIGAN FLOOD: Flooded streets become playground for jet skis and kayaks

Record flooding of the Kalamazoo River filled streets with standing water this weekend, closing major roads south and east of downtown Kalamazoo. Not ones to let life give them lemons, residents dusted off their personal watercraft and made some waves Saturday.

In a video posted to Facebook, two Kalamazoo men are seen riding personal watercraft down M-43. The adrenaline junkies were making their own fun by riding under a bridge that carries train traffic over East Michigan Avenue.

Others took notice. By Sunday, the video had 1.2 million views.
