Dodge has announced the production of “the most powerful muscle car in the world,” in the form of their new Challenger SRT Demon 170. Reports say this car boasts:
·0-to-60 in 1.66 seconds
·1,025 total horsepower at 6,500rpm
·It ran the quarter mile in an NHRA-certified 8.91 seconds at just over 151mph.
The Challenger SRT Demon 170 is the “seventh and final ‘Last Call” special-edition vehicle.” Ordering for the car starts on Monday, and this beast has an MSRP of $96,666. Those last three numbers were probably intentional.
