Universal has dropped the trailer for the newest “Exorcist” movie! The new movie, "The Exorcist: Believer," is going to be the first in a new trilogy that takes place after the original 1973 horror classic.
The trailer is…very creepy, which shouldn’t surprise anyone. The story follows two young girls who wander off into the woods, and return days later. The girl’s families realize that they’ve changed somehow, and eventually realize that they are possessed by something sinister. They reach out to the one person who can help them: Chris MacNeil from the original film “The Exorcist", portrayed once again by Oscar winner Ellen Burstyn.
"The Exorcist: Believer" is set to open on October 13th this year. The next planned film in the trilogy, "The Exorcist: Deceiver," is scheduled to hit theaters on April 18, 2025.
