Unless you're drinking a beer from a local microbrewery, odds are you're drinking a beer that's owned by one of TWO companies. And those companies are: Anheuser-Busch InBev and SABMiller. Those two com...panies now own 210 of the major beer brands around the world . . . including 18 in the U.S.
The Anheuser-Bush InBev brands in the U.S. are: Budweiser, Busch, Goose Island, Landshark Lager, Michelob, Natural, Rolling Rock, Shock Top, Labatt, Beck's, Lowenbrau, St. Pauli Girl, Bass, and Boddingtons.
The SABMiller brands in the U.S. are: Blue Moon, Coors, Hamm's, Henry Weinhard, Icehouse, Leinenkugel, Mickey's, Miller, Milwaukee's Best, and Olde English. The other brands they own that we drink here are Foster's and Grolsch.
The third-biggest brewer in the U.S. is Pabst Brewing Company. They make PBR, Schlitz, Old Milwaukee, Colt 45, Stroh's, Old Style, Lone Star, and Rainier.
